Join in Helping

The Children’s Hospital website lists many ways to help the Children’s Hospital mission. One way is to attend the fundraising activities and events organized by the local Children’s Hospital Guilds. Another is to join a guild--or even start your own guild.

What is Children's Hospital Guild Association?

For over 90 years, Children's Hospital Guild Association has helped provide care for children in need. The Guild Association is a diverse group of nearly 10,000 generous men, women and teens who contribute their time, energy and compassion to support the work of Children's Hospital. Hundreds of individual guilds, ranging in size from eight members to 80, make up the Guild Association. The mission of the Guild Association is to raise money so that all Northwest children in need receive the quality health care that Children's Hospital can provide.

How do I join a Guild?

If you don't want to start your own guild, you can join an existing guild. For the Tri-Cities area, contact JoAnn Hoff (d7hoff@aol.com) for information, or call the Guild Association office at 1-800-635-1432 for a list of guilds that need help.

How do I start a Guild?

  • Invite a few people to be members of your guild.
  • Call the Guild Association office at 1-800-635-1432 for start-up information and materials. Your new guild will receive membership forms, association guidelines, and manuals that offer ideas on creating events and guild organization.
  • Choose a name for your guild.
  • Send in membership cards for all guild members, along with their membership dues.
  • Select a fundraising project to work on or create your own project.
